Black Puddin’ on the Grill

Visited with Peter Whelan at his “Whole Hog” farm this afternoon, where he raises and sells the ancient and rare Irish Grazers pig (aka the Tamworth pig). www.thewholehoggs.com
An artisan butcher, Peter is passionate about keeping the Irish traditions of butchering and meat products alive and available to his community. After the visit, we stopped into The Boyles Pub and lit up the beer garden grill and shared Peter’s generous gift of black and white puddings and the most delicious cold smoked rashers (BACON Irish style!!!)
